Clocktower | Styled Shoot

Details on details on details! Ashley Carara brought together a stunning vision when she organized this Styled Shoot with the help Samantha Mathew’s wedding coordination expertise at the historic Denver Clocktower. This 1911 venue had so much charm and character. The ride up the 100 year old elevator was, I’ll admit, a bit nerve-wracking, but then I wound my way through a maze of hallways and staircases to end up in the stunning clock room where we took a majority of the portraits with our excellent models. It’s not easy to follow the directions of 6-10 photographers at once, but Sammi and Devan handled the 2 hours of shooting with ease.

From the clock tower room, I went up one more floor to find all of the amazing artists and business owners who were contributing to this shoot. The energy in the room matched that of a wedding day as everyone was working to meet the day’s timelines. The first person to pop out to me was Patty of A Love Tale Rentals who was artfully arranging an amazing sprawl of props, displayed all around the getting ready space. Megan and Deb of Estes Park Bridal Co. were busy putting the finishing touches on the bridesmaids hair and make up. Models Chelsea, Melanie, and Jocelyn were finishing getting into their dresses provided by Bella Bridesmaids as well as getting the ring bearer ready in his adorable outfit provided by Ted’s Clothiers.  All around the room were amazing gift boxes designed by Manofatto Gift Boxes and Blooms. Talk about a way to make your bridal party and family feel extra special! Julie’s floral designs added color and beauty throughout the shoot. Don’t you just love the flower wreaths held by the bridesmaids? Wouldn’t they look perfect for a fall or winter wedding? And Sammi’s bouquet!?! I’m sure she got a serious arm workout!

I have never seen a blue a cake before, but was floored with the beauty of this wedding cake created by Alisa at Sweet Inspirations Bakery Lastly in the day, I climbed another set of narrow stairs into the topmost part of the tower where Patty had set up more of her wonderful props. All That Glitters Invitations, Inspired Designs, and Butler Rents had also coordinated a beautiful table set up and I enjoyed a few quiet moments just shooting the remaining details of this amazing day!
