Rohlfs Family Photos | Mueller State Park

Last year I put out a blog (on my old website, which is now nonexistent) exclaiming my thanks that the Rohlfs family trusted me to capture their family photos for the 3rd year in a row.

Well, now I thank them for the 4th year in a row (5th overall session because I also got to take Chase’s senior photos 2 years ago)!

They have grown with me through every single business change. From the quality of my photography to prices to the way I book the session, accept payment, and deliver the photos. (I am pretty sure I have delivered their photos 3 or 4 different ways over the years!).

It started in 2013 when I had a hand in hiring Jen to work in my classroom. We worked together in an Autism classroom for elementary students. She witnessed me in all of my new teacher glory and I could not have done the job without her! Then in 2015, when I launched Rachel Rumple Photography, she jumped on board and supported me there, too, and brought her whole family along!

So, my gratitude runs DEEPLY for Jen, Perry, Justin, Alyssa, and Chase. They are a fun, loving, and kind family. Their sessions are laid back and joyful. Their sessions can feel a little weird for me if I’m honest, simply because I don’t have to talk as much or give as much direction. They’re photogenic people and are comfortable enough with me and in front of the camera that they just don’t need as much direction. I appreciate that they always bring their own ideas and want to get fun and silly pictures, too. I am thankful and blessed to still have this family in my life and as part of my business!

Also, a HUGE shoutout to Jen for just passing her BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) exam and earning her BCBA credentials. It’s a major accomplishment and such an important role to hold in our present time. She has expanded her capacity and expertise so that she can provide important specialized services and support to individuals living with Autism and to their families. Congratulations and THANK YOU, Jen!
