The Wilson family wanted to celebrate milestones and mountains! Their oldest was graduating college and they had recently moved to the mountains, so we scheduled a session to celebrate it all!
Busy work schedules and time at home from college led to us break this session into two parts with Cole’s graduation photos (and photos with his brother, Jack!) in the Spring and the family photo session taking place in Summer.
The Wilsons were some of the first people to believe in and invest in me as a photographer. They chose me as their family photographer back when I could barely direct a photo session, spent HOURS trying to figure out editing, and didn’t have a website or blog. Their first session is still up on my Facebook from 2016! Now, I’m preparing to photograph Cole’s wedding in just a few weeks, in August 2020!
Thank you, Wilsons, for continuing to choose me over the years. I appreciate you and am grateful for your kindness, support, and genuinely enjoy all our sessions together. I cannot wait for Cole and Mattea’s wedding in the mountains. It will be a joyous and beautiful celebration! I am honored to capture and document your family’s life and memories together.
I just absolutely love this side view of Pikes Peak!
This family loves their pups. So of course they came along! There were many giggles while trying to get the dogs to all look at the camera at the same time.
These two lovely humans are tying the knot in just a few weeks! I specialize in photographing elopements and small weddings, which is perfect for the age of COVID.
Sibling photos are the best. Here’s a little comparison of the Wilson kids (and my photography)! 2016 vs. 2019

Where is this location with mountains in the background? I’ll be in Colorado Springs later this year and would love to take some photographs here!
It is off Rampart Range Rd, up near Woodland Park. We literally just stopped off the side of the gravel road. Enjoy your visit!
